Applications are invited for two highly skilled Media and Communications Officers to support the advancement of the University's media presence and reputation. Candidates will be adept at managing comprehensive media campaigns, fostering relationships with media outlets at home and overseas, and creating impactful content across various internal and external platforms. This role demands strategic vision, creativity, and a deep understanding of media dynamics.
Candidates should be educated to degree level in a related subject or have demonstrable equivalent experience. Applicants will have experience of producing and placing news coverage and possess proven ability to write ‘media-friendly’ stories.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence as soon as possible.
The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (although remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
