Marketing Manager

As Marketing Manager for the Partnership for Education, you'll be a driving force in connecting governments and organisations with our growing product offer to help them reach their goals. You will also deliver marketing and communications campaigns directly in collaboration with our partners.

About the role    

Working alongside colleagues across the business, you'll raise awareness, drive demand and encourage adoption of our products and programmes. You'll develop and implement fully integrated go-to market strategies that align with our mission, our product and business strategies and enable sales, including:

  • Conducting market research and using insights to guide customer-centric product and programme development
  • Understanding opportunities for new products and further growth from the existing portfolio
  • Liaising with colleagues in markets around the world, especially enabling sales

You'll also be designing and delivering marketing and communications strategies as part of collaborative projects with our clients, such as ministries of education, international development organisations and private organisations. These campaigns can play an important role in our clients achieving their goals, and often include working with teachers, parents, students and wider stakeholders.

Across all your work, you will measure and evaluate activities and campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include: 

  • Managing relationships with external delivery partners to ensure campaigns and tactics are delivered on brand, on brief and on time, and that they clearly demonstrate return on investment.
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition. 

About You  

You will be a flexible, proactive and innovative marketing professional who puts the customer at the heart of all you do. You'll bring:

  • Experience in planning, briefing and project managing marketing campaigns with the customer at the centre, including:
    • Experience developing marketing messages that resonate and positively influence the target audience
    • Identifying and understanding the target audience and selecting appropriate marketing channels to meet desired outcome
    • Experience of evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities – insights driven and results oriented
  • Accurate written and spoken English and strong writing, editing and proofreading skills 
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with international audiences
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously with attention to deadlines and technology literate, able to communicate, collaborate and enable your work using technology 
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience

  • First stage virtual interview via MS Teams with the hiring manager and another colleague you'll be working closely with in the team. 
  • Final stage interview: in-person at our offices in Cambridge with the hiring manager and with another colleague you'll be working with closely in the team, followed by informal coffee with several further members of the team. You will be provided with a brief to complete a role related task during the interview, there is no preparation required in advance.
