The UEA Outreach team are seeking to appoint to a fixed-term Faculty Widening Participation Administrative Assistant to support the coordination and delivery of an externally funded Maths enjoyment & attainment programme for high attaining, disadvantaged students in Years 7-13.
The Maths Excellence fund aims to support schools to improve attainment and progression in Maths from ages 11 to 16 and 16 to 18, increasing the number of students on track in A-Level Maths and beyond.
UEA, in partnership with the Inspiration Trust, have received funding to deliver a Maths excellence community programme of activity, supporting improved attainment and progression in Maths across 12 schools and colleges, for a period of 5 years.
This administrative role will join the team to provide support to facilitate the smooth running of the above programme, and other on and off campus activities.

The role is available from 1 September 2024, on a part time (0.8 FTE, 29 hours per week) basis for a fixed period of 5 years (subject to continued funding to be confirmed annually).
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
