Are you experienced in organising and managing large scale events? Do you want to use your knowledge and experience to successfully deliver University-wide open days and recruitment events to support undergraduate and postgraduate student recruitment?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to join our busy Student Recruitment Marketing team on a fixed term basis. As Senior Marketing Events Executive, the role will focus on the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment event activity.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Events Manager and working as part of the wider student recruitment marketing team, you will be responsible supporting the delivery of an annual programme of recruitment events and activities to engage and inspire a diverse range of prospective students from across the world.
The role will focus on the delivery of recruitment event activity (campus based, virtual and hybrid) for all cohorts (undergraduate and postgraduate), including University-wide open days, campus tours, offer holder days, and subject conversion events.
You will have experience of planning and delivering a range of events including virtual and large-scale physical events. Flexibility and excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for the role, with a strong focus on the customer experience.
You will be enthusiastic and proactive with the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
This is a matrix team and will require you to work collaboratively and interchangeably with other marketing colleagues, adapting and sharing resources depending on changing strategic focus and areas of opportunity.
This role supports key targets and metrics around, size and shape of learners, campaign performance, brand and reputation measures and income generation.
The nature of the role means that there will be a requirement for occasional weekend and evening working.
