You will be enthusiastic, solutions-oriented, naturally inquisitive and be passionate to develop your career expertise to deliver digital experiences that inform, educate and inspire audiences.
You’ll be responsible for creating content and working with web editors and authors across the University to create and improve intuitive experiences on the University’s website and virtual discovery platform. Experience of content management systems and understanding and interpreting analytics is essential. Direct experience of Squiz CMS would be desirable but is not required.
As part of the team, you’ll help to ensure we maximise our competitive edge in search engine optimisation to drive high-intent traffic to our website and play a key role in implementing our SEO plans.
The team is committed to developing advanced insights into user behaviour, and therefore an understanding of producing reports in GA4 is essential.
You will have up-do-date knowledge of accessibility standards and requirements and be focused on and supportive of our equality, diversity and inclusion objectives.
Experience of the higher education sector is desirable, but all applicants must be passionate about the value of digital marketing to deliver a sector-leading digital experience for prospective students, customers and partners to help us to achieve our strategic objectives.
This is a hybrid role usually based two days per week on campus (at Greenwich) plus three days working remotely.
For an informal discussion about the post please contact Richard Garratt on (r.m.garratt@greenwich.ac.uk)
Should you have any queries please contact the People Directorate Team on Peopleoperationsmer@greenwich@gre.ac.uk
We operate a hybrid working policy, as set out in the University’s Working Principles and Guidelines.
The university welcomes people from diverse and underrepresented communities who can help the university to achieve its mission.
We do this through taking positive action such as encouraging applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic, disabled and LGBT+ people. As part of our commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, Time to Change Employer Pledge/Mentally Healthy Universities, we are committed to promoting and supporting the physical and mental health of all our staff, and removing barriers to improve inclusion.
We encourage applicants to disclose experience of mental health problems so we can support them fully during our recruitment process and make any necessary reasonable adjustments. Any information disclosed will be kept confidential and separate from the job application form.
We are making significant strides to understand and continuously improve our employees’ experience and we are committed to implementing progressive diversity talent management.
