We have an opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to a project on the form and function of nonverbal gestures in human social interaction, working with Professor Stacy Marsella. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
Candidates should have specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of how to collect nonverbal behaviour data and conduct data analyses using R, Python, or equivalent, along experience in using video annotation tools such as ELAN.
This post is full time and fixed term until 30th September 2025.
