We are seeking an exceptional candidate to become Deputy Head of International Recruitment (Undergraduate), a role occupying a managerial position within the International Recruitment Team. The primary purpose of the role is to product manage direct Undergraduate international recruitment by developing, cohering and influencing campaigns and projects at this level of study.
The postholder will make a significant contribution to the development and implementation of the University’s international direct UG recruitment strategy - in line with the key ambitions outlined in the Liverpool 2031 strategic plan and the supporting Student Intake Strategy. Working closely with the Heads of International Recruitment and International Relations, alongside other key stakeholders, the postholder will translate strategy into operational plans and develop a suite of supporting tactics.
You will have relevant work experience in a Higher Education student recruitment role (with evidence of some international exposure) with demonstrable experience of the UCAS process and associated activities, including Confirmation & Clearing. You will also have experience of developing, maintaining and optimising relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, ideally across multiple geographic territories and time zones. You will be highly flexible in approach and be prepared to undertake significant travel (up to 6-8 weeks) and work outside office hours (evening and weekends) from time to time.
