The Role and the External Engagement and International Partnerships Team
The External Engagement and International Partnership team collaborate with key stakeholders across the School and University to ensure the delivery of the School’s external engagement, internationalisation, and student experience strategic priorities. The key objectives for the team include the development of enhanced business engagement and experiential learning; the management and growth of international partnerships and experiences; skills development; and contributing towards continued achievements in key student outcomes; international rankings; and accreditations.
Working in close partnership with the Deputy Executive Dean (Education); Associate Dean Internationalisation; Associate Dean Engagement; Heads of Department and Directors of Education, the post holder will provide strategic support and delivery of internationalisation and external engagement activities. In line with the Business School’s Strategic Framework, the successful candidate will lead the team to develop the School’s portfolio of external relations with organisations and partnerships with universities across the world while implementing a holistic approach to the alignment of key objectives and activities across functions and stakeholder groups. They will be responsible for leading the External Engagement and International Partnership teams to enhance student experience, connec tion to the world of practice and experiential learning. In addition to working in partnership with the School and Department’s senior management teams, the post holder will collaborate pro-actively with a range of internal and external partners, including, International Office, Research and Innovation Services and members of the School Advisory Board to define and deliver the strategic aims and objectives.
