The International Student Recruitment (ISR) team at Brunel University London is responsible for the acquisition of international students. With 150 of the world's countries represented at the University, we are extremely proud of our diverse, international community all based on our one London campus.
This new role is dedicated to recruiting students from Sub Saharan Africa as part of the ISR strategy. The Africa market represents a significant growth opportunity for UK higher education institutions, and we are looking for an enthusiastic professional with experience of international HE and the Africa market to join our team and develop our existing strengths in this field.
You’ll lead the strategic recruitment planning for the African region and should have experience of stakeholder relationship management. You’ll be working with and influencing academic staff and agents, managing the on-time delivery of complex projects and associated budgets, and delivering sales targets.
Whilst this role is based in the UK, you’ll line manage a multi-cultural, multi-national team some of whom are based in-country. You’ll also have the flexibility and willingness to undertake overseas travel.
It is essential that you are educated to degree level, or equivalent, with innovative ideas and considerable analytical skills to identify opportunities and create business cases. You should have commercial acumen and a sensitivity to the needs and preferences of different cultures.
