About the role
Please note this position is a secondment opportunity/fixed-term contract for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
As a Donor Relations Officer you will be part of a specialist team that nurtures meaningful relationships with a broad range of impactful donors. You will work closely with teams across Advancement to ensure our donors across the major giving portfolio receive timely and meaningful stewardship for their giving.
We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata). This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

About you
You will have experience in a customer care environment and a proven ability in cultivating relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders including high net worth/ influential individuals. Strong written and in-person communication skills, understanding how to write engagingly and persuasively, and experience of writing high quality, written impact reports/materials is essential. We are pleased to accept applications from individuals who possess transferable skills and experience drawn from sectors outside of Higher Education.
