The role
CENTRIC currently has an exciting opportunity for a researcher to join our multidisciplinary research team with a focus on the accountable use of artificial intelligence (AI) in policing.
The successful applicant will work across a range of CENTRIC projects including AIPAS, AP4AI and STARLIGHT undertaking qualitative and quantitative research in accountable of use of AI in policing. The role will require flexibility and a willingness to develop your expertise in a range of areas in the security domain with additional knowledge of areas such as digital criminal investigations, law, ethics, and data protection being of significant benefit.
As a researcher in CENTRIC, you will join a highly motivated, interdisciplinary team of researchers and play a key role in the success of CENTRIC’s projects. The role will provide you with highly sought-after opportunities to develop applied research expertise in a wide range of areas within the security domain. You will develop strong links with universities, law enforcement agencies and industry, and have the opportunity have the opportunity to engage with international projects including travel to meet with CENTRIC’s international partners.
