Salary: £28,152 to £34,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
In this role you will coordinate, implement, and deliver the administration in the School of Medicine across the range of its activities providing support and advice to an Academic Unit and its staff and students.
You will be a friendly, proactive and self-motivated individual who is not fazed by constantly changing priorities and demands; you will have substantial administrative experience, excellent communication and people skills, as well as strong organisational skills. Your previous experience will enable you to provide professional, confidential, proactive and flexible administrative support to an Academic Unit.
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment where customer service skills are paramount. You will have the ability to produce high-quality work in a demanding environment and to tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing your own work whilst demonstrating flexibility to help other members of the team.
This is a permanent, full-time (36.25 hours per week) post. Job share arrangements may be considered.
