The School of History, Archaeology and Religion wishes to appoint a Teacher in History. This fixed-term role will be responsible for contributing to teaching on the BA and MA History degree programmes, including teaching on core modules at first and second year level, teaching of historiography, and some supervision of individual student projects. We particularly invite applications from candidates with expertise in environmental history and the ability to contribute to the teaching of a second-year option module on Environmental Histories.
You will be joining a dynamic and friendly department of historians, teaching across a wide range of time periods and geographical areas, with a lively research culture, and an active commitment to civic mission and public engagement.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), is fixed-term until 31st July 2025 and is immediately available.
