We are welcoming applications for a Lecturer in Plastering on a full-time, permanent basis.
Joining us as a Lecturer you must deliver excellent and inclusive teaching and learning in the classroom so that learners are inspired to succeed and progress. You will integrate appropriate and inspirational curriculum resources into lessons and plan delivery so that schemes of work and lesson plans support achievement. Undertaking ongoing high-quality formative and summative assessment of learners’ work, both in class and through regular out of class activity to monitor progress, you must aim to ensure that learners succeed through progress reviews and initiate and respond to new curriculum developments and plan resources as appropriate.
Educated to Level 3 or equivalent in Plastering, you must have experience of successful teaching (or teaching practice for ECT’s) in Plastering or related courses and hold a full teaching qualification or professional recognition in learning and skills.
The role requires an individual with the ability to deliver exceptional teaching and learning and inspire, motivate and engage learners. Capable of producing effective schemes of work and lesson plans, you should demonstrate a background of inclusive and challenging teaching strategies and of supporting students to attend by meeting their individual needs.
Dedicated to providing the communities we serve with a broad choice of learning options, Bury College offers a range of A Level courses, vocational programmes, and apprenticeships. In addition to this, we have higher level courses available at Bury College University Centre, as well as courses for adults.
** For academic year 24/25 eligible teachers could receive a premium payment of up to £6,000 ** (further details available on request)
