The Greenwich Business School is located at the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and has a strong commitment to diversity and internationalism, reflected in our staff and student profiles.
The School of Business, Operations & Strategy has a wide portfolio of Undergraduate programmes in the general area of Business Management and Leadership, Sustainability, Logistics and Supply Chain Management and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The school runs an MSc in Business Analytics, MA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and an MA in International Business. The position offers opportunities for teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and enables an ambitious candidate to play an important role in the shaping of the future development of the school’s approach to its innovative curriculum and assessment design. We are particularly looking for candidates with expertise/project experience on big data analytics, AI applications and implementation, that enjoy working with diverse cohorts of students and challenging them to fulfil their potential and are capable of teaching both qualitative and quantitative subjects. Applicants need to be confident in developing inspiring learning materials and activities within a blended learning environment and providing excellent student care. The successful candidate must have a PhD in Business Analytics/ Big Data / AI, or related fields and a appropriate professional qualification.
There are strong research teams within the school which provide research that is of significance to businesses and technology, the society and environment, urban ecosystems, and the circular economy. A successful applicant would form part of a research group, contributing to REF submissions and overall research activities while at the same time receiving support and mentoring to enhance their skills and overall standing in the research community.
