About the Role
This is management position within the IHSE’s senior leadership team, where the post holder will apply their deep knowledge and experience of financial and relationship management to provide advice to the Institute Manager and Institute Director. The post holder will lead the management of the Institute’s finances and will oversee and champion relationships with NHS Partner Trusts and NHS England (Workforce, Training and Education Directorate). The post holder will represent the IHSE within the Faculty and University, as well as with NHS partners and other external stakeholders, as required.
About You
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field and an accountancy qualification from a recognised body. They will have significant experience in financial management, including monitoring of multiple budgets over the full financial year, in a HE or NHS setting, and a thorough understanding of financial management procedures and protocols. They will have an excellent understanding of the higher education sector or NHS environment and will have experience in a business partnership role, successfully building relationships and managing multiple partnership agreements.
