About the role

We are seeking an exceptional communicator and network builder to join Imperial’s International Relations Office. You will engage stakeholders through a wide range of communication activities supporting the Imperial Global Network and broader international relations priorities.

What you would be doing

You will lead stakeholder engagement campaigns and foster network-building in key global regions, showcasing Imperial's cutting-edge work in discovery science, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies. By effectively promoting Imperial’s innovations and strategic partnerships, you will craft content that strengthens science and technology networks, demonstrating how our international collaborations tackle global challenges such as health crises, malnutrition, climate adaptation, and industrial decarbonisation.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and identity of the Imperial Global Network, a globally leading science and technology network in key regions overseas, along with associated events and programmes.
  • Co-delivering targeted and engaging content and newsletters to key Imperial Global audiences, both internally and externally, through various channels including webpages, social media, and newsletters.
  • Supporting complementary campaigns and initiatives related to the Global Development Hub and international student and fellowship programmes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience of developing stakeholder strategies
  • Experience of building relationships and networks with external stakeholders
  • Experience of leading on communications to a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Excellent understanding of delivering stakeholder engagement and network building for and within a large and complex organisation.
  • Good knowledge of the characteristics of international research, education and innovation programmes, including communications challenges
