Job overview
Our Directorate of Education and Training has ambitious goals for increasing student numbers, diversifying its portfolio and extending its reach. To achieve these goals, it is essential that we provide effective professional support services for our students and staff.
The Student Marketing & Recruitment Manager will be jointly responsible for maximising the recruitment potential of the Trust’s wide-ranging education and training offering – taking ownership of a portfolio of postgraduate (master’s and professional doctorate) and CPD (short) courses, grouped by subject area.
The postholder will achieve this by managing all aspects of their portfolio’s marketing strategy – from development and delivery to reporting and evaluation. They will devise nuanced and effective multi-channel campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and conversion. They will take ownership of their portfolio’s web presence and communications programme, engage in high-quality content creation, plan a variety of events, and manage digital advertising campaigns.
This post is one of two Student Marketing & Recruitment Managers in the team, who will each own their respective portfolios of courses, working closely with the Admissions Manager, and all reporting into the Head of Student Marketing, Recruitment & Admissions.
We welcome applications from candidates who are experienced managers and/or those with relevant experience, looking to progress into their first managerial post.
