Applications are invited for an appointment as Global Development Manager, Global Galway, Grade 5, 1 FTE, SPC at University of Galway.
This post is being offered as a specific purpose contract and will terminate by reason of the expiry of its specific purpose. It is anticipated that the duration of this assignment will be circa 17 months.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Recruitment Management Team at University of Galway, leading a team of overseas rep(s) and Global Development Executive(s) to deliver against the recruitment targets (quantitative and qualitative) for their region, developing and managing networks of agents and other recruitment facilitators. This includes sourcing opportunities for partnerships, staff and student mobility and development of applied research as well as more conventional recruitment to all University of Galway campuses and Colleges.
While the role holder will be expected to have significant experience leading target driven recruitment teams in one or more of our key regions, the successful candidate may be required to work in any region of the world as necessary to support the University’s recruitment strategy.

Salary: €60,424 - €81,917 (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University’s Remuneration policy.
This appointment will be made on the Grade 5 pay scale in line with current Government pay policy.
