Job description:

We are seeking an independent and motivated postdoctoral Research Associate to work on a Cancer Research UK (CRUK)-funded project at the interface of stem cell biology and disease modelling. You will employ lineage tracing approaches and isogenic human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines carrying genetic lesions associated with the paediatric cancer neuroblastoma to decipher how these disrupt embryonic development and promote tumour formation/influence response to chemotherapy. This project is a close collaboration with groups from London (The Institute of Cancer Research, KCL) and Vienna (St. Anna Children's Cancer Research Institute, Medical University of Vienna)

You must hold a PhD in a subject related to stem cell/developmental biology along with experience in culture and differentiation of hESCs toward neural crest cells alongside immunocytochemistry/imaging, flow cytometry and qPCR. Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, and be able to work to a high standard are also essential.
