An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced individual with excellent management accounting / business partnering skills to join the Finance and Planning division as Associate Director, Financial Management.
As an Associate Director you will support the Director of Finance by providing expert financial guidance and strategic direction in delivering high-quality leadership across the business partnering function. Building positive relationships with stakeholders across the University is vital to engender culture of respect, trust and successful service delivery.
Through effective budgeting, forecasting and financial oversight, you will be influential in the delivery of the long-term financial plan, responding proactively and with agility to the fast-changing financial and operational environment in which the Division work.
It is essential that you hold an accounting qualification such as ACA, ACMA, ACCA, ACPFA, together with experience in a complex accounting environment with proven budgeting and planning skills, and the ability to lead strategic development work.
This full-time post is available from 1 September 2025 on an indefinite basis.
UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although this role is advertised on a full-time basis, we are happy to accept applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including compressed working hours over a 5 day working week, slightly less than 1 FTE and/or hybrid working.
