We are currently recruiting an Information Governance and Compliance Officer to join us. This is an additional role to the team, reflecting our continued investment to ensure we continue to meet the needs of the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), patients and the public now and in the future.

What is the role?
This role will work closely with and support our Information Governance Manager. You will provide proactive Information Governance support, offering specialist technical advice and ensuring that relevant strategies and policies are fit for purpose, effective and compliant with legislation. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with knowledge and experience of Information Governance legal requirements including Data Protection Act /UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Freedom of Information Act and Environmental Information Regulations.
