IT Services (ITS) plays a critical role in enabling research, teaching, and learning across the University. ITS is one of the largest directorates within the University, focused on delivering quality services and an exceptional user experience.

Role Context

The University operates on a global scale, with an annual income exceeding £1bn and a vast IT ecosystem serving over 75,000 stakeholders. As a research powerhouse managing sensitive personal and medical data, our institution is a high-profile target for cyber threats.

About the Role

As a key member of the IT Senior Leadership Team, the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of the University’s digital assets.
