This new 0.3FTE part-time post is immediately available until 3 March 2027 on a fixed term basis.

Please note that the location of this role is Manchester. This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on location and some from home.

Summary of the role

We are seeking a motivated Community Connector to join our busy research delivery team to ensure the smooth running of NIHR funded and Devon Partnership NHS Trust sponsored ACORN II clinical trial. This trial is testing the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of a group-based mental health treatment among women who experience anxiety during pregnancy. The community connector will be working closely with the research team and will be providing holistic support to trial participants across different stages of the research process. The post holder will work collaboratively and in partnership with the Multi-Disciplinary Teams and local Services and Community Groups to create perinatal mental health pathways of support for women
