Please note: although this is a predominantly remote role, the post holder will need to be on-site for one week per annum.

Oxford University invites applications for the part-time role of Deputy Director for MSc in Global Women’s Health—a pioneering, interdisciplinary program addressing critical health issues facing women worldwide. About the Role 

As Deputy Director, you will work closely with the Program Director to:

  • Drive strategic development and curriculum innovation.
  • Foster collaboration among faculty, students, and global partners.
  • Support delivery of our hybrid course and ensure high-quality student experience.
  • Lead and contribute to teaching, supervision, and research.
  • Oversee student engagement and admissions, and enhance teaching methods.

What You'll Bring 

You will hold a PhD/DPhil or a relevant Master’s degree in Public Health, Women’s Health, or a closely related field, with significant teaching experience. You’ll bring a solid academic background and a strong understanding of online and hybrid teaching methods. Your expertise in global women’s health will be matched by a genuine passion for addressing health inequities. Strong communication, organisational skills, and a demonstrated ability to engage with faculty, students, and external stakeholders are essential.

Ideal candidates will also have experience designing and delivering online or hybrid programs, and an active record of publications or research in global women’s health. A history of presenting at relevant international conferences would be an added advantage.
