A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Student Marketing & Recruitment to join the University’s College of Social Sciences (CoSS). We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking leader to oversee student recruitment and marketing on a College-wide basis.
In this influential role, you will drive the development and implementation of student marketing and recruiting strategies for CoSS, as well as establishing and managing a matrix structure alongside School recruitment and marketing leads. You will define and monitor shared Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), delivering student recruitment related insights and market intelligence to support strategic planning and inform College Management Group decisions. With responsibility for recruitment and marketing planning and budgets, you will also ensure that resources are deployed efficiently for maximum return on investment.
In addition to the above priorities, you will act as the key liaison with our central External Relations, ensuring that our activities align with institutional objectives and priorities and contribute to broader policy development.
This role would be ideal for someone who has a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, market intelligence, and student recruitment methodologies, and who possesses substantial experience in a senior marketing or recruitment role within higher education or a similarly complex organisation. The postholder will also lead the strategic development and implementation of international student recruitment initiatives and partnerships, therefore experience in international student recruitment and transnational education initiatives is essential.
