Podiatry Clinical Tutor

Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint a permanent, part-time (0.6) Podiatry Clinical Skills Tutor to join our growing Podiatry and AHP team at the University of Salford. You will be an experienced HCPC registered podiatrist with a broad range of experience, across all clinical areas.

You will demonstrate a passion for developing the next generation of podiatrists and have experience in delivery high-quality, evidence based podiatric care and have a comprehensive knowledge of podiatric education. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a strong team player, dedicated to creating the best possible student experience.

We deliver a range of podiatry programmes to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners and as such our team works flexibly, including some Saturdays.

Interviews will be held on Thursday, 5^th June 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver skills-based training to podiatry students across all levels and programmes.
• Demonstrate a wide range of current and evidence based clinical skills.
• Ensure that all clinical work is carried out to a high standard and is based on a sound evidence base.
• Work alongside the podiatry team to develop a curriculum that is both contemporary, achievable and empowering for the future podiatry workforce.
• Be willing to update current skills and knowledge to reflect current podiatric practice.
• Deliver a range of teaching and learning sessions to assist the delivery of academic modules.
