About us
Recently re-established, the Department of Engineering at King’s College London is rapidly expanding into a world-class research & teaching department.
We are one of five academic departments in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical and Engineering Sciences. All departments have a wide-ranging portfolio of established taught programmes and are highly rated in research activities.
The Department of Engineering is supported by an experienced professional services team, working in partnership with academic colleagues, as well as faculty and central directorates to provide a high-quality administrative support service and student and staff experience.
About the role
We are looking to recruit a Programme Officer to join our team. The Programme Officer is responsible for essential work contributing to the delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. They will support students and academic staff as the first point of contact for queries, whether face-to-face, via phone or electronic media.
The role is responsible for essential work to support the delivery of our programmes and for ensuring that student lifecycle activities run smoothly. With support to develop a working knowledge of regulations the Programme Officer is a valued and trusted member of a hard-working and friendly team and will have a keen eye for accuracy and detail.

The role will be based at the Strand campus, in the heart of Central London. Professional services staff are currently working on a hybrid basis, meaning the role holders will spend part of their working week on campus and the remainder working remotely.
This is a full-time post (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract.
