We have an immediate and exciting opportunity to be part of our Student & Registry Services area, within the Curriculum & Timetabling team. Student and Registry Services (StaRS) | (The Student Hub, Curriculum and Timetabling, Exams and Awards, Student Records) sits within the Student Administration and Academic Affairs division in the Student Experience Directorate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join StaRs as we seek to achieve our ambition to provide a best-in-class student experience aligned to our new University strategy. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes a contributory pension scheme, a generous holiday allowance and a range of other benefits.
The successful applicant will be highly organised, with excellent customer service skills; experience of supervising would be advantageous. They must be enthusiastic and adept at learning new skills. They will have the confidence to deliver fresh ideas to improve our service to colleagues and students. They will enjoy working at pace, with a deadline sensitive workload, and be comfortable with complexity and uncertainty. Proven problem-solving skills are highly desirable along with effective team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
As a university we aim to create an inclusive environment that attracts, supports and retains the best students and staff from diverse backgrounds and experiences from across the world. We are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are passionate about creating a working environment in which you are free to bring your whole self to work.
We welcome applicants that value diversity of our community and are willing to play their part in supporting the mission of inclusivity.
Interviews for this post will be held on Highfield Campus during early June.
