The Role
The University of London Careers Service (UoLCS) is an award-winning, global, virtual careers service and is recruiting a Careers Consultant Maternity Cover (4 days a week/28 hours) to work with our online, distance and flexible learning students. The role is hybrid based in Senate House, London for a minimum of 40% of the week and remote working.
You will work in collaboration with UoLCS and UoL colleagues, our member institutions and internationally-based affiliated Teaching Centres, to design and deliver the highest possible standard of careers and employability support to our students, who are based internationally, either studying independently or within our Teaching Centres.
UoLCS uses a three-part Career Stage Framework approach to meet the diverse needs and range of work-based experience our students represent: Career Starters, Career Developers and Career Changers.
We are looking for candidates who have experience within Higher Education careers and employability services and have a relevant qualification in careers guidance or coaching.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office.
