This position provides an excellent opportunity to take a managerial role in the Accommodation & Commercial Services Finance Team, to maximise the Department’s effectiveness and its ongoing contribution to the wider success of the University.
You will need to work across existing partnerships and develop strong collaborations with staff across the University at all levels. Sector experience isn’t a must, but a desire to make positive changes is, so if you have skills and experience which you think may be relevant, then we’d love to hear from you.
Accommodation & Commercial Services provides a wide range of services to university students, staff and external customers and partners. The Finance Team provides comprehensive support to the department, and together with the Commercial Financial Controller and UNICUS Accountant, you will manage and lead the team.
You will have some experience of managing and developing a team and have experience of financial management in a complex organisation. You will support the provision of high-quality financial statements and business process advice to the department, including forecasting and management of external funding.
You will have outstanding interpersonal skills and will demonstrate an aptitude to collaborative working and supporting positive change. You will be an engaged team player, delivering results through both challenge and support of colleagues at all levels.
