Job synopsis:
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems is seeking to hire a Technical Officer/Senior Technical Officer on a full-time basis to manage the Department's teaching and research activities in the areas of digital media, audio and interaction technologies. Key responsibilities include management of the department's computer labs, recording studios, video suites, equipment procurement, software/hardware maintenance, event support (concerts/exhibitions/outreach) and implementing lab security and infrastructure. Expertise in studio operations, IT support, and event tech is essential. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated and productive research and teaching team and be closely engaged in the delivery and development of the department's teaching and research mission.

Salary Scale:
Technical Officer: €40,828 - €58,608 p.a. pro rata
Senior Technical Officer: €61,866 - €71,224 p.a. pro rata
