The Business Analytics and Information Systems Department conducts teaching, research and engagement activities in various aspects of analytics and IS/ICT. There is a thriving teaching innovation and research culture in the Department, which has a strong reputation for being both rigorous and relevant.
As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking inspirational and highly motivated individuals to contribute to the development of the Department’s teaching, PhD/DBA supervision, research and enterprise activities. We welcome discussions with prospective candidates whose interests include, but are not limited to business transformation, digital transformation, and Artificial Intelligence and enterprise innovation.
You will have a good first degree, or equivalent, as well as a PhD in a relevant academic discipline. It would be desirable to be able to demonstrate an emerging record of funding, publication of research outputs and creation of research-based impacts in industry and or society. We are especially looking for people with a strong research profile in business/digital transformation as the successful applicant will join our newly established research Centre of Excellence for AI Enterprise and a ‘hands-on and can-do’ attitude.
