The Department of Medicine is the largest Department in the School of Clinical Medicine at the University of Cambridge. Research is our major focus; from the fundamental aspects of biology, through to work on disease mechanisms as well as clinical translations.
We are looking for someone with a background in HR and the ability to work on various HR-related item to support and deliver proactive and responsive HR services to academic, research, and professional colleagues including external visitors. This role sits within a team of 5 HR professionals and works closely with the Department's professional service team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be confident in making informed decisions and escalating to the Senior HR Coordinator where necessary. The ability to apply discretion when managing highly confidential information and communicating effectively with all levels of staff and other Departments outside of Medicine is essential.
