Are you an experienced senior professional who enjoys working collaboratively?
We are looking for a motivated, high-performing individual with a proven track record of success in business partnering and senior stakeholder management. The role will be based at the University Advanced Manufacturing Park, Catcliffe with site visits to Advanced Manufacturing Research satellite centres (Wales & North West). You will have a key role in building and maintaining a strong network of relationships with stakeholders across Estates & Facilities Management (EFM), the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) and the University of Sheffield Innovation District (USID). Using your business partnering skills you will have a critical role in business support to drive forward success by aligning University strategies with overall AMP/USID business objectives to achieve organisational goals, with a focus on workforce planning, talent attraction, communication & engagement, building operations, performance & compliance management and data analysis.
In this varied and dynamic role, you will be responsible for developing strategies to deliver transparent service performance and improvement with an increased focus on the provision of quality services to maintain operational standards that meet business requirements. You will take the lead on implementing agreed strategies, policies, business plans and projects as required and take ownership of the creation of continuous service improvement, to embed a culture focused on alignment of goals and objectives.
Excellent communication skills are essential and you will need to maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and partners, raising awareness of business support direction, including changes and challenges, You will be comfortable managing the needs and priorities of multiple internal and external stakeholders, and confident in exercising substantial independent responsibility and discretion while working to broad parameters and policy guidance.
With responsibility for managing operational teams you will have experience of hard & soft facilities management and will hold an H&S qualification such as NEBOSH.
