Pre-Degree Specialist Student Support Worker
24 hours per week, 36 weeks per year (Term-time only) - Permanent

Arts University Plymouth is seeking to appoint a Specialist Student Support worker in our Pre-Degree campus, where they will be required to provide assistance to students with disabilities and/or special educational needs. Our Pre-Degree campus is a fast paced environment where we deliver Arts courses across a variety of disciplines.
The successful candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the needs of students with a variety of disabilities, including Autism, ADHD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health. We will also require you to build strong, trusting relationships with our students, to encourage their success and achievement.
You will have a flexible, positive and ‘can do’ approach, along with effective communication and organisation skills - an ability to be emotionally resilient is a major part of this role. It is expected that this role will work 4 days per week, starting at 9am and finishing at 4pm. Furthermore, it is anticipated that the role will start from the 1st of September 2025.

This is a term time role working 36 weeks per year aligned to the University’s pre-degree calendar which can be provided on request.
