The opportunity
University of the Arts London is looking for a highly organised and experienced School Administrator to join the School Operations team at Central Saint Martins.
Reporting to the School Operations Manager, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to one of the School’s Deans. This is a pivotal role that involves managing the Dean’s diary, coordinating meetings and events, preparing agendas and minutes, and serving as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
You will maintain a School-wide tracker to monitor progress against institutional priorities, supporting financial and project management tasks, and overseeing administrative processes related to School-led initiatives. Additional responsibilities include managing expenses, arranging travel and hospitality, maintaining file systems and supporting the production of reports and presentations.
You will also be expected to assist with ad hoc projects across the School and College and provide cover for colleagues within the wider College Operations team as needed.
About you
You will be a confident and well-organised individual with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experienced in managing complex diaries, taking accurate minutes, and handling confidential information. The ability to prioritise tasks, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders is also crucial.
A background in a customer service-focused role, with a commitment to enhancing the student or client experience, is advantageous. You will also be an excellent problem-solver, who is capable of developing administrative processes and working collaboratively in a team setting.
