As a Coordinator, you will deliver an outstanding ‘customer focus’ to students and staff, ensuring that services are effective, agile, responsive, supportive and welcoming. A key aspect of the role is to provide supervision and support for PGR Administrators delivering services to academic and Professional Service staff, and students working and studying at the University. You will lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence in customer service and continuous improvement.

You will work closely with School and Faculty PGR leads, academic supervisors and Graduate Schools and support PGR regulatory and quality assurance activity, on behalf of the University.

You will have recent experience of working in a similar administrative role and will meet all the essential criteria as set out in the person specification.

There are two roles available:

  • One role is offered on a full-time (1 FTE) basis as maternity/adoption leave cover for a fixed-term period of up to 12 months from 1 August 2025.
  • The second role is offered on a part-time (0.8 FTE) basis for a fixed-term period of 12 months from 1 August 2025.

A secondment will be considered, and applicants should please ensure that a secondment will be possible with their Line Manager/Head of Department, before submitting a formal application.

UEA offers a variety of flexible working options and although one role is being advertised on a full-time basis, we encourage applications from individuals who would prefer a flexible working pattern including annualised hours, compressed working hours, part time, job share and/or hybrid working. Details of preferred hours should be stated in the personal statement and will be discussed further at interview.
