Job synopsis:
The Teaching Assistant in TESOL & Applied Linguistics will be responsible in particular for contributing to undergraduate TESOL and Applied Linguistics modules, both in terms of lectures and tutorials. In addition, the Teaching Assistant, as skilled and experienced TESOL professional, will contribute to the Section’s postgraduate TESOL programmes, the MA TESOL particularly. Language Teacher Education and research/teaching in a broad range of language pedagogies as well as contributing to research methods in applied linguistics, will be part of the input of the Teaching Assistant.

"A Teaching Assistant post in the University of Limerick operates as a training contract. The duration of the contract is limited to 10 months. However, it may be renewed for one further period only not exceeding 10 months. Applications will only be considered from individuals who have not already received two Teaching Assistant contracts”
