We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Assistant to contribute to the MUSER research project (‘Muslims, the Secular, and Existential Risk’) working with Dr Caroline Tee and the project research team. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications and research proposals as well as help manage and direct this complex and challenging project as opportunities allow.
Candidates should have specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of textual sources in Islamic Studies, with respect to French and English as well as Arabic language sources. They should also have experience pertaining to theological questions connected to Islamic sources’ engagements with existential risk.
