The School of Arts, English and Languages at Queen's University seeks to appoint a temporary 0.5 FTE Lecturer (Education) in Contemporary Irish Literature for a fixed term of 5 months (starting 1 September 2025). The successful candidate will teach a stage-three module, Love Across the Divide: Northern Irish Literature and Culture 1968-Present and contribute both to the teaching in English at undergraduate level and to School administration.
About the person:
The ideal candidate will have or be about to obtain a PhD in twentieth and/or twenty-first century Irish literature and will have relevant teaching experience at undergraduate level. They will be able to contribute to broader management and administrative processes in the School.
