Head of Research
The successful candidate will encourage and foster research at the Scotland College of Chiropractic that is congruent with the College’s mission and vision and that advances chiropractic research within the UK and Scottish healthcare frameworks.
The role holder will undertake teaching, assessment, and moderation as agreed and will provide support to colleagues teaching across the research-oriented modules of the MChiro degree programme, in particular the Level 7 Research Project. They will work with the wider programme team in engaging staff and students in regular evaluation activities in pursuit of the improvement and enhancement of provision and of research activities.
The role holder will play a significant role within the College’s academic and clinical governance framework through chairing the Human Participants Ethics Committee and membership of other relevant committees, developing further the College’s existing relationships with donors and stakeholders.
