You will be based at our Pittville Campus, however due to us being a multi campus university you will be required to work across our Campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester. This is a hybrid role and there will be a requirement to be on campus at least 3 days a week depending on business needs.
We have an exciting opportunity for a People Administrator to join the People Function here at the University of Gloucestershire and work across our campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester.
As a People Administrator you will work as part of ateam, responsible for managing and providing a high-quality, professional customer service across the University. This is a varied role working as part of our People Partnering team within the People function. You will support the business and the team with all first line HR related queries including: administration for case work, employee contracts, absence management and payroll and responsibility for updating the HR system.
Furthermore, you will work with the rest of the People Team and will be involved in project work aligned to our core People Plan, including, Talent Development, Engagement, Wellbeing, EDI and Employee/Union Relations
This role requires you to be able to use Microsoft office packages, including Excel and Word, manage multiple different deadlines, be organised with managing your own workload, as well as adapting to business need and demand as it arises.
