About us
The School of Politics and Economics are seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic & motivated individual who is committed to providing an excellent service to staff and students. We wish to appoint a Senior Business Operations Manager to play a crucial role in the smooth running and strategic direction of our School, which includes four different departments. If you are an outstanding individual, who loves working with a variety of people, and have a track record in managing large budgets, managing HR processes, and supporting senior staff, and are looking to advance your career, this role is for you. The role will report to the Head of School Administration.
About the role
The successful candidate will lead, set the strategic direction for and oversee the School Business Operations Team. They will oversee the delivery of business operation services (finance, estates, and HR) for all students and academic staff within School of Politics and Economics. Furthermore, the successful candidate will support the Head of School and the Head of School Administration in achieving the School's strategic and operational aims. They will contribute to, and provide support for, the School's strategic planning and policy development.
This is a full-time (35 Hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract. This is a hybrid role with a minimum requirement of 2 days a week in the office.
