The TPI Centre is an independent, authoritative source of research and data on the progress of corporate and sovereign entities in transitioning to a low-carbon economy. It is the academic partner of the Transition Pathway Initiative, a global initiative aimed at helping investors assess companies’ preparedness for the transition and supporting efforts to address climate change.
The role will be based within the Carbon Performance or Climate Action 100+ (CA100+) team.
Carbon Performance assesses corporate progress towards a low-carbon economy. The team develops emissions pathways for companies across 12 high-emitting sectors and ensures these benchmarks align with the latest climate modelling. This data is used by investors to inform engagement strategies, assess portfolio alignment, and drive capital toward credible transition leaders. The TPI Centre is one of the main data providers to CA100+, an investor-led initiative to ensure the world’s largest corporate greenhouse gas emitters take necessary action on climate change. The CA100+ Net Zero Company Benchmark aims to drive corporate climate action through investor-driven engagements.
