About the role:
The Department of Life Sciences at Imperial College London seeks an enthusiastic individual with appropriate academic and educational experience to support a variety of teaching activities on our undergraduate teaching programmes. Join us, and contribute to the University’s Educational Mission.
We’re looking for candidates who can contribute to one or more of the following academic areas:
What you would be doing:
Holding a departmental position in teaching (e.g. module/course/year organiser), you will develop and deliver teaching, including lectures, workshops and academic tutorials. You’ll design, organise and run laboratory classes, and will supervise undergraduate student projects, setting and assessing work using appropriate methods and criteria.
You will contribute to educational research, evaluation and critical enquiry activities, including the process of securing internal or external funding for teaching initiatives or scholarship, and engaging in scholarly activities related to the subject area you work in and higher education practice.
You will have potential for, and willingness to work towards, appropriate professional recognition and accreditation e.g. Fellow or Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and will be a reflective, responsive practitioner committed to personal and professional development.

This is a full-time, open-ended post, based at our South Kensington Campus.
