Data Connect is seeking a talented Research Project Manager to join our team. We are a strategically vital service within Research IT services, empowering researchers with streamlined access to crucial health and social care data, directly contributing to research that enhances lives.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of research projects. You'll work closely with the Senior Research Project Manager and Data Technical Lead, serving as a key point of contact for Principal Investigators and lead researchers, guiding projects from inception to completion. Your proactive approach will be essential in identifying and resolving obstacles, optimising team efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Your core responsibilities will include understanding and translating user needs into actionable project requirements, ensuring alignment with research goals, and collaborating with researchers to define project workflows. You will manage project scope, timelines, and communication, ensuring clear information flow among team members and stakeholders. As Well as maintaining and optimizing JIRA board workflows, and implementing agile methodologies, including sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives. You will also contribute to service design improvements and collaborate with the Data Management team to oversee data collection and analysis, assisting in resolving workstream obstacles.
