Research initiatives at Saïd Business School bring Oxford academics together with senior leaders from industry and public sector organisations. These organisations provide funding and collaborate with academics on mutually beneficial research projects.
The Oxford Future of Marketing Initiative (FOMI) was established in 2016 and is led by Director, Professor Andrew Stephen and Deputy Director, Dr Felipe Thomaz. FOMI currently has an active group of corporate partners, including BMC Software, Diageo, Google, Institute of Real Growth, Kantar Group, L’Oréal, Mars, Meta, Reckitt, Unilever, United Nations Unstereotype Alliance, Wavemaker and WPP. FOMI aims to facilitate the collaboration, knowledge, experience sharing, and scientific research that will move the marketing discipline forward in a data-fuelled, technology-focused world.
The Oxford Future of Real Estate Initiative (FOREI), launched in 2018, is funded by a growing group of industry partners that includes Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, Redevco, and Pictet. Led by director Professor Martin Schmalz, FOREI research focuses on the 2025-2030 impact of innovation and technology on the global real estate industry
The post-holder’s primary role will be to provide professional administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the two research initiatives and provide PA support to the Directors leading those Initiatives. The role will include administrative support, event support and PA duties. The role will report to the Head of Partner Relations (FOMI) and support the Senior Research Fellow (FOREI) with partner engagement and research management.
