About the role

This post supports delivery of UCL Global Business School for Health’s undergraduate module in management. The postholder will assume the full responsibilities as the module convener.

  • You will work in a team to develop and delivering the module.

We require the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, and they must have right to work in the UK.

The hourly rate is £45 per hour.

About you

The post holder(s) will prepare and deliver appropriate teaching material, including regular lectures, tutorials and seminars, as part of the delivery of our undergraduate programme. Duties will include:

  • You will work in a team to develop and deliver undergraduate module in management.
  • Teach undergraduate course as allocated by the Head of Department, including lecturing, conducting seminars, administration and marking of exams and assessments.
  • Deliver lectures with specified learning outcomes within a clear and established teaching programme/framework.
  • Carry out the necessary preparation for each lecture or seminar e.g. attending module meetings, write lectures and other content for either class use or Moodle (online), prepare lecture notes and additional teaching materials as needed.
  • Ensure that the learning objectives and the learning needs of students are met by the teaching content, methods of delivery and learning materials.

You will have excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to enthuse listeners, and be able to deliver research-led effective and engaging teaching.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of and enthusiasm for collaborative and team-based working and have the ability and willingness to contribute to the education, research profile, administration and general life of the School.
