Lecturers in Law - Grade 7- 8

The Liverpool Law School seeks to appoint Lecturers in Law (Teaching & Scholarship) to join the Law School at the University of Liverpool. Scholarship includes work that relates to the study and practice of learning and teaching within an HE setting. It can also include, but should not be exclusively characterised by, subject-specific/disciplinary-specific research that is not related to learning and teaching, but which has a tangible impact on policy, practice or systems.

These posts are open to candidates with an established track record of teaching excellence in addition to substantive, considered plans for developing their scholarship profile into the future.

We would welcome applications from candidates who can contribute to teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate taught modules in the following areas: Corporate and Commercial Law; Criminal Law including Evidence; Contract Law; Tort Law; Property Law. A commitment to social justice will be complementary to the strong social justice legacy and programmes of research for which the department is renowned.

You should have (or be about to obtain) a PhD in Law or have equivalent extensive professional/scholarship experience.

The posts are available on a 2 year fixed term basis.

Interviews are expected to take place w/c 14^th July 2025.
